Practical Electronics Engineer in MFG Eng Team for cables, board & testers
Job description:
• Modifications and preparation of cable drawings and support for production contractors.
• Finding replacements for problematic components and lowering costs for cables and boards.
• Verification of faults in cables and their rework (rework instructions for subcontractors)
• Support for other Mfg engineers in the team, support to the production floor
• Implementation of the improvements/corrections or new design using the ERP system in the ECO process
• Various production process support.
• Contact with purchasing teams, configuration management, quality, electronic and mechanical team, component manufacturers and suppliers.
• Support for verification testers
Requirements:
• Practical Electronics Engineer with 3 years of experience
· Good human relations and ability to work with contractors and the operations and production teams.
• Experience with cable drawings and system routing
• Understanding of electronic boards.
• Knowledge of supporting the mass production of cables.
• Experience working with ERP system (priority) and ORCAD and VISIO systems
• Experience in supporting the verification testers
• Willingness to travel abroad

- Performing verification checks and renewing certifications for subcontractors in the country according to the established work plan.
- Monitoring and controlling facility activities (quality system and product level).
- Conducting First Article Inspections (FAI) with manufacturers.
- Analyzing supplier performance over time, identifying problematic suppliers, defining supplier quality plans, and implementing them with procurement, suppliers, and projects.
- Assisting in system and tool training within the organization related to subcontractor certification, procurement, and management.
- Conducting investigations and analyzing root causes of failures, including defining and controlling improvement plans within the organization and with subcontractors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Materials Science, or any engineering field – mandatory.
- Master’s degree in Quality and Statistics – an advantage.
- Familiarity with quality standards AS9100D/ISO9001 – advantageous.
- Qualifications in the quality field – CQE/CQM, surveyor/editor of inspections – advantageous.
- Knowledge of the security industry in development and manufacturing processes – advantageous.
- Ability to analyze supplier processes, identify weaknesses and defects, and establish quality processes throughout the entire process.
- Attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and good interpersonal skills, considering the various factors that an Supplier Quality Manager deals with.
- Excellent and in-depth understanding of industrial processes, both macro and micro.
- Familiarity with PRIORITY and OFFICE software.
